SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO DOMESTIC BATTERY SITUATIONS - Police have Busy Tuesday

Sheriff Jeff Starcher and Deputy Jason Chang were dispatched to a domestic situation on Right Rush Run Road near Orma Tuesday. Deputy Chang arrested Crystal Beckett, 38, and charged her with one count of domestic battery following an incident involving her room mate.

Beckett was taken to Central Regional Jail.

Earlier, Sheriff Starcher arrested Megan Freshour for domestic battery following a domestic situation involving her mother-in-law.

The Sheriff's Department was dispatched to the Brian Smith residence on Cain Rd. in reference to a well-being check. Once contact was made with Smith, the officer discovered that Smith had an active warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to Central Regional Jail.

Home Confinement Officer Seth Ulderich took Aaron Lloyd, 32, into custody following a home confinement violation and he was taken to Central Regional Jail.

Calhoun authorities arrested Joseph Clayton Southers, 41, on a charge of failing to pay child support and took him to Central Regional Jail Tuesday night.
