He was born January 18, 1959 at Spencer, a son of the late Jerome Tucker and Orpha B. Stutler McCutcheon.

Mike was a retired nurse, who had worked at the Roane General Hospital for many years.

He was a member of the McCutcheon Chapel near Reedy. His hobbies were four wheeler riding, hunting and reading.

Survivors include wife, Ellen McCutcheon; stepsons, Derek, Dennis and Dakota Elswick all of Spencer; brother and sister-in-law, John and Dola McCutcheon of Charleston.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. John McCutcheon officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Reedy. The visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
