Budgie was born March 28, 1959 at Spencer, the son of Vandle and Rose Keaton of Looneyville.

He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the IUOE, Local 132.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife of 19 years, Linda Keaton; daughter Aimee Keaton of Left Hand; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Steve Kershner of New London, Ohio; stepson, David Sutton of Tariff; grandson, Ryan Keaton; step grandchildren, Brett, Brooke and Jailynn Kershner; sisters, Rhonda Leach, June Keaton, Jean Keaton, Cathy Keaton and Lisa Gandee; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Robin Keaton Starcher.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 13 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial will be in the Moore-Keaton Cemetery, Left Hand. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
