Ella Josephine Clark, 87, of Marietta, Ohio and Spencer

Ella Josephine Clark, 87, of Marietta, Ohio and Spencer, West Virginia, died Sunday June 3, 2018 at Letherbark,(Calhoun County) West Virginia.

  She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Gene L. Clark, of Marietta, Ohio.

Born December 19, 1930 at Spencer, Roane County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Dolpheus J. and Julia (Carpenter) Brannon.

Josephine was a Graduate of Mountain State College, Parkersburg, WV, and retired after 30 plus years employed as Assistant Controller of the Hines Flask Company. Cleveland, Ohio.   She was a member of Cleveland Baptist Church, Brooklyn, Ohio, and a 50 plus year member of the Eastern Star.  She was married January, 21, 1950 at Orma, (Calhoun) West Virginia to Gene.  She was an avid reader, and enjoyed gardening, cooking and traveling.  She was a dear friend to all and loved by all she knew.

   Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Clark of Letherbark, WV  and Janet Kazmarek of Orlando, FL; five grandchildren, Richard Stewart, John Cory Cannon, Kristopher, Kevin and Jason Kazmarek; two great grandchildren, Brandan and Kyle Stewart; one sister, Frances Baltzegar of South Carolina and a niece and a nephew.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday, June 8 at 2 pm. at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, WV with Pastor Justin Simmons officiating.  Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer. Friends may call between 12 and 2 p.m. before funeral services.
