GRANTSVILLE YOUTH WILL ATTEND 32ND WEST PENN BURN CAMP

(06/02/2018)
Thirteen-year-old Levi Stump of Grantsville will be among those attending the 32nd West Penn Burn Camp. Stump accidentally suffered burns at his Grantsville home.

He is the son of Neil and Gina Stump.

For the past 31 years, kids who've suffered burns have found confidence and self-esteem at West Penn Burn Camp. This year about 20 kids from throughout Pennsylvania and West Virginia will be attending. The theme, 'making magic happen' will be woven throughout all activities.

The camp is open to any child age 17 and under who has been treated at West Penn Burn Center. It is run solely on donations, and Burn Center staffers help out using their own vacation time. When campers reach age 18, they often return as counselors to help young burn victims through the eyes of someone who truly understands their situation.
