Dick lived his entire life in the Walton area, where he made lifelong friends and raised his family. He was a man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors. After restoring the family log house, he spent countless hours on the porch visiting with passers-by. He became known as the "Mayor of Robinson Run."
