SHERIFF STARCHER MAKES SIX ARRESTS IN MULTIPLE CASES

The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office conducted a warrant sweep this week and arrested Austin Lee Bailey of Mt. Zion, Jerry Jones of Big Springs, and Brian Burrows of Grantsville. Austin Lee Bailey is charged with one felony count of destruction of property. Brian Burrows is charged with one felony count of grand larceny. He has been released on bond. Jerry Jones is charged with one misdemeanor count of providing an inmate with a prohibited substance. The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office has also recently arrested Mark Johnson of Grantsville and Danny Burrows of Russett. Johnson is charged with one count of providing an inmate with a prohibited substance and Danny Burrows is charged with one misdemeanor count of destruction of property. The sheriff's department took a male juvenile into custody Tuesday. charging him and taking him to a juvenile detention center. Sheriff Jeff Starcher was the investigating officer the cases.
