HERSHMAN VIOLATES HOME CONFINEMENT IN STEVENS MURDER CASE

Evan Lee Hershman, 29, of Lizemores, has violated his home confinement and is incarcerated in Central Regional Jail Hersman had been charged with conspiracy to commit a felony and armed robbery in the home invasion and murder of a Calhoun County resident Eugene Stevens on Dec. 5. Homeowner Eugene O. Stevens, 77, was fatally wounded after being shot multiple times during an exchange of gunfire as men attempted to break into his home.
