ROANE AUTHORITIES ARREST TWO IN STOLEN VEHICLE, STOLEN MOTORCYCLE AND ARSON CASE

(05/19/2018)
The Roane County Sheriff's Department says two people were arrested in a situation involving a stolen motorcycle, a stolen vehicle and arson Friday night.

Deputies report a vehicle was stole on Amber Ridge Road in the Walton Area. The victim's son told Deputies he chased it for some time into Kanawha County. That stolen vehicle was stopped eventually on Poca Fork Road and the driver, Deidre Pozzie of Clendenin, was arrested.

West Virginia State Police say she's charged with Grand Larceny.

During the incident, Roane County Deputies say Pozzie's boyfriend, David Andrew White III from Walton, set the victim's out building on fire after fleeing in that stolen vehicle.

Damage estimates are approximately $8,000 to the victim's home and outbuilding.

David Andrew White III was arrested Saturday morning in Walton. Deputies say he confessed to the arson fire and stealing a Harley Davidson Road King from near Walton earlier in the month.
