CLAY MAN SHOT, STABBED IN VIOLENT MURDER - Police Looking For Son As Suspect

5-11-2018 - West Virginia State Police released the name of the man whose body was found in Clay County and said his son is a person of interest in the homicide investigation.

The body of Milton Robertson III, 67, was discovered Wednesday night by State Police at his home on Left Fork Sandy Road in Wallback, State Police said. Troopers said Robertson's son, Joshua Everett Robertson, 44, is being sought as a person of interest in the case.

Neighbors became concerned about Robertson because they had not seen him for several weeks, and they contacted emergency officials. State Police believe the body had been at the residence for some time and had been shot and stabbed multiple times.

State Police said Joshua Robertson is believed to be driving a brown or tan Hyundai Santa Fe with a the West Virginia license plate, 9VS728.

POLICE INVESTIGATING WALLBACK, CLAY COUNTY HOMICIDE - Victim Had Violent Death

5/10/2018 - West Virginia state troopers are investigating a homicide in the Wallback area of Clay County.

Troopers were called to a residence on Left Fork Sandy Road in Wallback Thursday morning, where they found a deceased male inside a home.

Troopers in Clay County are currently working with the state medical examiner's office to determine how the male died.

Investigators say the man died a violent death.

The body had been in the home for a while.

Troopers have a person of interest they are working to locate. No names are being released at this time.
