VOTE ELECTION DAY - Herald Will Publish Early Results. County Has Paltry 267 Early Voters

Polls will open at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Calhoun's 10 voting precincts. Polls will close at 7:30 p.m. WV's new voter ID law will be utilized. Calhoun recorded a paltry 267 early voters. Local levies on the ballot for Emergency Services would basically continue the levy, with a slight increase to provide one staffed ambulance 24/7 for the county. The Prosecutor's Levy would provide funding for a full time prosecutor required under law. If it does not pass, the Calhoun Commission will have to dig through the tight budget to find funding. Locals are predicting a light turn-out. The Hur Herald will publish results as soon as they are available through Tuesday night.
