MISSING MAN RUSSELL ROGERS FOUND

5/05/18 5:30 P.M. - Dispatch at the Parkersburg detachment of the State Police confirms Russell Rogers has been found in Garrettsville, Ohio.

Authorities found the 64-year-old safe and informed the Parkersburg detachment just after noon on Saturday.

The State Police thanks the public and law enforcement in helping with the search efforts.

SILVER ALERT ISSUED FOR MAN HEADING TO CHLOE, CALHOUN - Russell L. Rogers, 64, Missing

On Thursday, May 3, 2018, the Parkersburg Detachment of the WV State Police received a missing person report regarding the victim, 64 year old Russell L. Rogers of Garrettsville, OH.

Rogers had left a residence on the Wilson Fork Road, near Elizabeth, in Wirt County at 0600 hours this same date, advising he was enroute to the Chloe area of Calhoun County to visit family.

Rogers has not been seen or heard from since this time. Rogers was driving his 2000 model, Chevy K1500 truck, blue in color, with unknown OH tags.

A Silver Alert has been issued as a result of this incident. Rogers is described as being approximately 5'11", brown hair and hazel eyes.

Rogers is reported to have tattoos on each arm as well as his chest and face.

Anyone with information on Roger's whereabouts is urged to contact their nearest local law enforcement agency or 911.
