PLEASANT HILL SCHOOL RECEIVES RECYCLING HONOR

Front (L-R) Brooklyn Valentine, Lexie Regan; Back (L-R) Carol Throckmorton (Administrative Services Manager for the West Virginia Solid Waste Management Board), Judy Wolfram,Michelle Smith, Nedia Cyran (Public Information Specialist with the youth Environmental Program for the Department of Environmental Protection), Amanda Morris, Kim Solomon, Paul Hayes (Public Information Specialist with the WV Solid Waste Management Board) Brooklyn and Lexie run the recycling program at PHE. They gather and break down the cardboard each morning before going to class. They were presented with certificates from the school and pins from the Calhoun County Solid Waste Authority. Judy Wolfram, Michelle Smith, Amanda Morris & Kim Solomon are members of the Calhoun County Solid Waste Authority board.
