Weston Police arrested Landers after Buckhannon Police had issued a warrant for his arrest. Landers was wanted for malicious wounding after he allegedly shot a man in the stomach.

Landers is accused of shooting William McCauley during a confrontation on Cleveland Avenue in Buckhannon, according to police.

Landers allegedly shot McCauley once through the left side of his abdomen with a .22 pistol.
