ARMED ROBBERY - Deputies arrested an armed robbery suspect for breaking into a Cross Lanes home and striking a woman.

According to a criminal complaint, Rickey Eugene Bourque, 29, of Saint Albans, broke into a residence near the 5300 block of Big Tyler Road on November 23rd, 2017.

Bourque allegedly struck the homeowner and stole her purse after entering the residence.

He then brandished a firearm and threatened another woman who was inside the home.

A third party identified Bourque to police, describing him as "someone he had known most of his life."

The two female victims also identified Bourque, saying he was known to frequent the residential area.

He was arrested and charged with armed robbery and wanton endangerment.

Bourque is being held at South Central Regional Jail where his bond is set at $25,000 cash only.
