YOAK CHARGED WITH STEALING TRUCK

Angela M. Yoak, 33, whose residence is listed as Jackson County, is awaiting trial for the theft of a vehicle belonging to Cole Whiting of Roane County. She is in Central Regional Jail.

Calhoun authorities located the stolen 1995 Dodge truck with Yoak and her dog on a remote road near Arnoldsburg. Police said she was not intoxicated.

She appeared before Calhoun magistrate Rick Postalwait, and then taken to Central Regional Jail with bond set a $15,000.

3/13/2018 - State Police officers and Calhoun Sheriff Jeff Starcher responded to a what was reported as a stolen truck from Roane County Tuesday night about 11 p.m.

Officers went to a rural lane known as Valley View Drive off Cook-Spring Run Road, close to Arnoldsburg, discovering the disabled vehicle

The truck was located some distance up remote Valley View Drive, which is an access road to a cell phone tower.

A female occupant was reported to likely be intoxicated, not confirmed, and was taken into custody by Cpl. J. B. Hunt.

Central Regional Jail says Angela Marie Yoak, 33, has been felony charged for stolen property.
