Emma Metz of the Right Fork of Crummies Creek died in 2009, was a reclusive and self-sufficient woman who held close to her roots, is still remembered for her huge field of daffodils that continue to bloom. We wrote many stories about the "hermit woman," who was imbued with survival skills and a great sense of life on earth.
