PARTS OF CALHOUN WITHOUT PHONE SERVICE

3/22/2018 - Reports indicate some parts of Calhoun are without Frontier landline service since the snow storm Tuesday night. Frontier is on strike, using temporary workers. OES/911 Director Julie Sears said Frontier initially reported 1,200 customers without service, saying most have been restored, but a number of lines are still out in remote areas. If you have info about the extent of the phone outage, please email bob@hurherald.com. We have no phone service at the Hur Herald, which uses satellite internet service. Areas confirmed without service Thursday night, Hur, Rowels Run, Annamoriah and Minnora.
