Donald Earl "Amos" Burrows, 86, of Davisville

Donald Earl "Amos" Burrows, 86, of Davisville, WV passed away March 19, 2018 at his home.

He was born February 26, 1932 in Grantsville, WV to the late Walter and Mary Givens Burrows. He was a self-employed Contractor and Builder, a U. S. Air Force Veteran during the Korean Conflict and a member of the Old Country Church in Walker, WV. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by three daughters, Theresa (Vincent) Post, Elizabeth Westbrook and Dorene Burrows all of Davisville; five grandchildren, Jessica, Matthew, Amy, Tracey, and Joshua; two step-grandchildren, Vincent III and Claudine; ten great-grandchildren, Brendon, Patience, Preston, Austin, Trenton, Abigail, Victoria, Emily, Gauge and Ryder; and three step-great grandchildren, Trevor, Jacob and Vincent IV.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty James Burrows; a son, Milford Earl Burrows; a twin brother, Donnie Burrows in which they were affectionately known as Amos and Andy; and six other siblings, Hayward, Leonard, Emogene, Irene, Lorene, and Eveline.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 3 p.m. at the Old Country Church, Walker, WV. Internment of ashes will be at the convenience of the family at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Grantsville, WV. A Gathering of Friends and Family will also be on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the Memorial Service.
