RESPONDERS DISPATCHED TO HUR INCIDENT - Firemen Respond To Back Fork Grass Fire

Calhoun 911 dispatched the Grantsville VFD, a Minnie Hamilton ambulance and Cpl. J. B. Hunt to a car in the ditchline with male driver on Rowels Run, near Hur. The incident happened at 6:30 a.m. Sunday. The male driver refused medical treatment. State Police investigating. The Grantsville VFD responded to a grass fire at 8:15 p.m. Sunday to Back Ford Road, the fire reportedly resulting from the burning of an old trailer.
