Betty F. Atkinson of Parkersburg
Betty F. Atkinson of Parkersburg, WV passed away March 13, 2018 at Camden Clark Medical Center. Betty was born in Grantsville, WV on March 22, 1937 to the late Olen Ernest and Elta Fern Mace Kelley. She retired from the Wood County Board of Education as Head Cook with thirty three years of service.Betty is survived by a son, David L. (Becki) Mayse, a daughter, Trina (Herbie) Humes, a granddaughter, Jasmin L. Mayse, and two grandsons, Dylan and Braden Matson. She is also survived by sisters, Peggy (Howard) Cosner, Nancy Hawthorne, Carolyn Garrity and Marilyn Townsend and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis "Pat" Daniel Atkinson and a brother, Robert L. Kelley.
Friends and Family are invited to attend the Graveside Service on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Evergreen North Cemetery where burial will follow. Pastor Ronnie Hendershot will officiate. Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg is assisting the family.
