She was born August 25, 1960 at Ravenna, Ohio, a daughter of the late James Lee and Nelma June Miller Lloyd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Fear.

Barbie was a homemaker, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Joseph King of Warren, Ohio, Crystal King of Spencer and Tabitha (Derik) Higginbotham also of Spencer; two grandchildren, Caden McCoy and Emberlyn Greenawald; ex-husband and father of her children, Robert King of Niles, Ohio; longtime companion, Jeffrey Nichols of Spencer; sisters, Tabitha Lloyd of Reedy, Janice Keefer of Ravenswood and Debra Farries of Ravenna, Ohio.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 13 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor Joe Keefer officiating. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery, Reedy. The visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
