Orville Gene "Bub" Metheney, 60, of Chloe

Orville Gene "Bub" Metheney, 60, of Chloe, died March 8, 2018 at his sister's, Louise Boggs, house in Nebo.

He was born April 25, 1957, the son of late Arley and Mamie Tanner Metheney. He resided in Chloe, WV with his wife Jessie Hicks Metheney. He started his own right of way clearing company and enjoyed farming.

Surviving are his wife, Jessie Hicks Metheney; one daughter, Carla Metheney; one stepdaughter, two stepsons; one grandson, Dayvon "Bad Boy Johnson" Mithell, the love of his life and light of his world; one granddaughter, Melissa Jarvis; two great granddaughters; three sisters, Euthleen "Pokie" Jarvis of Nebo, Louise Boggs of Nebo, and Tama Jarvis of Nebo; six brothers Darus "Joby" Metheney of Ohio, Roy Metheney of Moore Fork, Doy Metheney of Chloe, James "Jim" Metheney of Chloe, Troxal Metheney of Chloe, Timmy Metheney of Chloe, and one really good friend Mary Fretter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Dale "Tinker" Metheney and a step-son.

A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Shelly Mace officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in Minnora Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
