David was born April 19, 1959, in Barberton, Oh. He was a lifelong area resident of Chloe, WV. He worked as a truck driver for various companies throughout his years of living.

He is survived by his mother, Jessie Metheney, Chloe; two brothers, Richard Sisson (Betty), Ohio and John Michael Sisson (Juanita), Oklahoma; one sister, Connie Jarvis (Sam), Chloe, WV; two half-brothers, Martin Sisson (Rebecca), Oklahoma and John Edward Sisson, Oklahoma; a wife of 14 years, Shelby June Sisson; five nieces, Samantha Starcher, Melissa Jarvis, Carla Metheney, Ashley Sisson and Audrey Sisson; two nephews, Stephen Sisson and Martin Sisson and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Edward Sisson of Oklahoma; grandparents, Huey and Ethel Hicks of Chloe, WV.

A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Shelly Mace officiating.
