Carolyn Sue Hall Nester, 76, of Arnoldsburg

Carolyn Sue Hall Nester, 76, of Arnoldsburg, WV entered into eternal rest early Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at her home.

She was born April 25, 1941 in Calhoun County, WV, a daughter of the late Criss and Florence Laughlin Hall.

She is survived by her daughters, Vicky Summerfield Sears (Alan), Christina Nester Schueler (Peter), and Patricia Nester Smith (Ted); two sisters, Linda Goodwin (Donnie) and Kathy Westfall (Jerry); one brother, Stanley "Butch" Hall (Susan); seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth.

She retired as a paraprofessional from Calhoun County Board of Education after 30 years of service in Kindergarten at Arnoldsburg Elementary School. She was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. She enjoyed music and singing in church from a young age, and later was a member of "The Bluegrass Travelers" band.

A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Brian Satterfield and Pastor Kevin Church officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Sand Ridge Cemetery.
