She was born May 5, 1933 at Spencer, a daughter of the late Verner Edward and Bertha McCauley Starcher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie "Whitey" Forron; two sons, Rodney K. Burgess and William D. Forron; a sister, Nancy Bales.

Peggy was a retired employee of the former Spencer Hospital, Spencer.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Eddie Gene and Joyce Burgess of Spencer; grandchildren, Brian Forron and Cyndi Forron; special nephew, Jody Starcher; several other nieces and nephews; sisters and brother-in-law, Carolyn Hersman and Judith and Bill Roberts.

She has been cremated and there will be a graveside service at a later date in the Hebron Cemetery, Spencer.
