George Richard Duskey, 41, of Portage Lakes, Ohio suddenly went to be with the Lord on Friday February 16th 2018.George was born January 23, 1977 in Barberton Ohio. He later made his home in West Virginia. George was dearly loved by his children and will be deeply missed and forever loved by his family and friends. He worked for 24 years as a rig hand in the oil field. George had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up a room. He was devoted to all who knew him and would take time to help anyone in need. Fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors is what he enjoyed, but his main passion was family, friends, and his special pup Nicky. He is preceded in death by his father George "Pete" Duskey, grandparents George "Pop" and Betty (Bell) Duskey, uncle Robert Boyd and Aunt Juanita (Tuttle) Duskey. He is survived by wife Treasa Maria Duskey, children Philip Scott Norman and Emily Renee Duskey, stepmother Robin Duskey Prichard, best friend and brother Matthew (Lisa Post) Duskey sister Amanda (James Pannell) Duskey, step sister Sarah (Charles) Bell Shaffer, Aunt Sue (Ken) Breiding, aunt Tracey (Tim) Hopkins, special cousins Aaron Breiding, Angie Breiding Watters, Bill Duskey, Will Duskey and many nieces, nephews, and cousins all of whom had a special place in George's heart. A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Delmas Stutler officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Wright Cemetery in Creston, WV. A celebration of life will follow the burial at the Creston Community Center.
