Calhoun teachers, service personnel and other state employees demonstrated today at Grantsville and Arnoldsburg over wages and benefits, with state officials saying a strike is "imminent." An early morning rally before school on the Grantsville bridge drew a large number of participants with signs, seeking public support. Hundreds of early morning drivers "honked" in support of the group There will be additional Walk-In Rallies at 4-5 p.m. today in Arnoldsburg along US 33-119 at the laundromat, and on the Grantsville Bridge.
