CALHOUN PAIR CHARGED WITH THEFT OF $50,000 TRACTOR

(01/20/2018)
Two Calhoun County men have been charged with selling a tractor valued at over $50,000 reported stolen in Ohio to a Roane County man, according to Spencer Newspapers.

Michael Ray Hall, 35, of 602 Cottrell Rd., Chloe, and Dylan Paul Little, 25, of 482 Finger Board Rd., Big Springs, were arrested last week on charges of transferring property stolen in another state, receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle and conspiracy in charges filed by Roane Sheriff Todd Cole.

Cole said he recovered a 2015 Kubota four-wheel cab tractor and implements from a home on Bartlett Road near Spencer. The tractor was registered to a man in Wadsworth, Ohio, and allegedly taken from a farm near Clinton, Ohio, in the same area where Hall used to live.

A Honda ATV was also reported missing at the same time. Both men was arrested Thursday, arraigned before Roane Magistrate Jason Bennett and lodged in the regional jail in lieu of $50,000 pending hearings.
