TWO SET FOR SENTENCING IN HARDMAN FORK MURDER - Calhoun Circuit Court

1/18/2018 - Sentencing is set today in Calhoun Circuit Court for two people in the murder of Lewis Bartlett III, 37, who was shot to death on Hardman Fork in July, 2016. Alex Dunn had entered a No Contest plea to Second Degree Murder, a felony, and Attempt to Commit Kidnapping, a felony. Alicia Walker had entered a No Contest plea to Attempt to Commit Kidnapping without injury, a felony. Other cases on today's docket: State vs. Michael Ray Hall, Jr., revoke and forfeit bond. State vs. David Allen Bailey, 1st appearance/arraignment. State vs. Michael Wayne Cain, arraignment. State vs. Dylan Paul Little, arraignment and motion to revoke bond. State vs. James Edward Nichols, arraignment. State vs. Joshua Michael Settle, arraignment. State vs. John Klapka, motion to modify bond. 11 Juvenile cases.
