| Robert Basnett, Jr., 72, of Spencer, WV passed away on January 14, 2018 at Roane General Hospital, Spencer, WV.
He was born in Calhoun County, WV on May 7, 1945, a son of the late Robert Basnett, Sr. and Virginia Lucille Kerby Basnett of Grantsville, WV.
He was a deacon in his church when he lived in North Carolina.
He is survived by four children; sisters, Brenda Radabaugh and Debbie Basnett both of Grantsville, WV and brother, Terry Basnett of Zebulon, NC.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by wife, Mary Basnett; sister, Judy Meadows; brother, James Basnett; and a favorite aunt, Helena Bennett of Elyria, Ohio.
