He was born August 18, 1932 a son of the late John O. and Lilly Downey Kimble.

His wife, Marjorie Ann Kimble, preceded him in death.

He is survived by sister, Barbara Hathaway; daughter, Becky Schuster; sons, John E. Kimble, Mike Kimble, and Gary Kimble; a foster sister, Christine Wayne; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was an avid fisherman and a long-time member of the Parkersburg Baptist Temple.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant son, Gerald Kimble; brother, Burl Kimble; and an infant sister, Betty Kimble.
