POLICE ARREST GRANTSVILLE MAN FOLLOWING EXTENSIVE FOOT CHASE - Bell Facing Multiple Charges

Calhoun authorities arrested Issac Paul Bell, 27, following a stop of his vehicle in Grantsville, which was followed by a long chase around the town Saturday night, mostly on foot. Bell was stopped by Cpl. J. B. Hunt on Johnson Street for suspected violations, after which Bell fled on foot. Calhoun Sheriff Jeff Starcher and Grantsville Police Chief Craig Gherke also participated in the search. Bell is charged with a probation violation, driving revoked DUI, fleeing on foot, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and defective equipment. He is in Central Regional Jail.
