Deputies terminated a pursuit Wednesday night in Clay County where the suspect crashed into a cruiser.

Roane County deputies tried to pull over a car with stolen tags on Ash Camp Road at about 10 p.m., when the driver took off, according to dispatchers.

The pursuit then crossed into Clay County.

Dispatchers said no one was injured when the driver struck the deputy's cruiser.

The driver was able to get away and deputies called off the chase.
