DRIVER INJURED IN HOG KNOB HILL RT. 5 ROLL-OVER

8 a.m. 1/10/2018 - A driver lost control of his vehicle on the Glenville side of Hog Knob Hill at 8 a.m. Wednesday, the vehicle rolling over on its top and injuring the driver.

Randal Smith, 27, was extracted from the vehicle by responders, complaining of neck and back pain, according to a report, reportedly with no feeling in his lower extremities.

He was being airlifted from Grantsville by chopper from Minnie Hamilton Health System to a Charleston Medical Center.

Minnie Hamilton EMS and the Grantsville VFD responded to the scene.

The Calhoun Sheriff Jeff Starcher is investigating.
