Joyce Kathleen Gearhart, 81, of Walton, West Virginia died January 6, 2018 at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, West Virginia. She was born July 14, 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland a daughter of the late Eugene Fredrick and Kathleen Carrie Lambert Boone. She and her late husband, Charles Gearhart, owned and operated an independent grocery store in Maryland and she enjoyed making country crafts. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Jean Boone. She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Janeczko of Walton; one brother, Ronald Eugene Boone of Michigan; and one sister, Lois Clark of Deleware. Per her request, the body was cremated. There will be no visitation or service. TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, West Virginia is serving the Gearhart family.
