NEW YEARS DAY: ARNOLDSBURG FIRE NEARLY OUT AS FIREMEN ARRIVE

Arnoldsburg homeowners managed to extinguished a New Years Day fire before firemen arrived about 1:20 p.m. Monday. Firemen continued to put out "hot spots." Bill and Heather Anderson were the occupants of 97 Rustic Lane. Responding to the fire, the Arnoldsburg and UWF volunteer fire departments. The Arnoldsburg VFD responded to a gas line leak on Country Lanes, off Mt. Zion Ridge. The Grantsville VFD responded to an assistance call from MHHS EMS for a UTV to transport a woman from a deep hollow on Pine Creek.
