By Bob Weaver

Starting Jan. 1. 2018, the Herald is making an effort to publish some news that generally does not become public information.

Including a return to publishing regional obituaries daily, magistrate court news, court coverage, real estate transfers, marriages and divorces, and others.

The Herald archives was donated to Glenville State College for preservation. and most are still available to readers.

During our slow down of one-and-one-half years we did cover all the major news events.

Fascinatingly, despite the big slowdown, the Hur Herald readership has reached an all-time high.

Unfortunately or fortunately, in old age, we apparently do not have a sit-down gene.

We thank our many readers and supporters from Sunny Cal and around the USA.

We accept confidential NEWS TIPS.
