FILING FOR COUNTY-STATE OFFICES STARTS MONDAY

Candidates desiring to file for the May, 2018 Primary Election can start filing on Jan. 8 in the County Clerk's office. Filing continues through Jan. 28.

One seat is open for Calhoun Commissioner, the filing fee is $273. Commissioner Kevin Helmick is seeking relection.

Board of Education seats, filing fee is $25.

There are also two openings for Conservation Supervisor. Norma Collins' term is up and Roger Collins resigned in December. The cost to register to run is $10.

State Senate and House of Delegates seats are open for filing, among other state positions.
