CHLOE WOMAN SEARS SENTENCED FOR THEFT - Orma Man Boswell Sentenced To One Year Home Confinement

A Chloe, Calhoun woman, who pled guilty to two counts of conspiracy to commit burglary, was placed on five years probation in Roane County Circuit Court.

Angela Kay Sears, 38, pled guilty for her part of the theft of nearly $30,000 in ATVs, tools, equipment and clothing from a hunting cabin on Rush Run Road.

Sears and her co-defendant Eric Ray Jones of Calhoun were ordered to make restitution. Jones was sentenced to jail earlier.

Elvis Boswell, 27, of Orma, had his bond revoked in Roane Circuit Court and was ordered to serve one year on home confinement.

Boswell had been on 5 years probation after he pled guilty of not paying child support. Police found him with 16 grams of meth, those charges are still pending.

David Allen Bailey, 31, of Spencer, was placed on five years probation and ordered to enter a treatment facility for substance abuse of up to one year.

Bailey pled earlier to a felony charge of child neglect and driving DUI-2nd Offense. He will register as a child abuser for 10 years.
