DISPOSITIONS RELEASED CALHOUN CIRCUIT COURT

(12/10/2017)
Calhoun Circuit Court was in session this week, with dispositions released by Prosecutor Shannon Johnson.

Nathaniel Lane entered a plea of guilty to Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, a Felony, and to Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Misdemeanor. He will be sentenced December 15, 2017.

Paula McAtee entered a plea of guilty to Possession with Intent to Deliver, a Felony, and to Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Misdemeanor. She will be sentenced December 15, 2017.

George Parsons appeared for trial. The Court, upon his attorney's motion, ordered that Mr. Parsons undergo an evaluation to assess his competency to stand trial. His case will be reviewed on December 15, 2017.

Dennis Sears and Travis Moore appeared for trial. Their cases were continued and are now set for February 13, 2018.

Bryant Hall, Bobby Persinger, and Austin Dailey appeared for trial. Their cases were moved to December 19, 2017.

Brandon Batton appeared for sentencing. He had previously entered a guilty plea to Burglary, a Felony, and to Destruction of Property, a Misdemeanor. Mr. Batton was sentenced to one year probation. If he successfully completes his probationary period, then he will stand convicted of the Misdemeanor offense and the Court will dismiss the Felony. His case will come on for a review of his probation on May 17, 2018.

Zachary Shook appeared for sentencing on his guilty plea to Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, a Felony. Mr. Shook was sentenced to one to five years in the state penitentiary, consecutive to a sentence he is currently serving on a felony from Monongalia County.

Adam Miller entered a guilty plea to Burglary, a Felony. He will be sentenced on February 15, 2018.
