TWO LANE LIVIN' STOPS PUBLISHING - Calhoun Chronicle Sold To Media Company, Paper To Be Printed In Virginia

(12/10/2017)
Lisa Minney has announced the discontinuance of publishing the monthly Two Lane Livin' after a ten year run.

Two Lane Livin' has been a highly popular publication featuring excellent articles, including Minney and regional writers, reflecting a simpler life of West Virginia mountaineers.

Minney says the content of Two Lane Livin' will be placed on an archive for visiting.

The Calhoun Chronicle/Grantsville News, the Chronicle being published in the county since 1883, has been sold, according to publisher Helen Morris.

The publication was purchased by Mountain Media, a company that owns 13 rural weekly newspapers in West Virginia and Virginia.

The paper will now be published at a Mountain Media press in Virginia.

Regionally, the company also purchased the Clay County Free Press.
