BRAXTON WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER METH, MONEY FOUND IN BRA

(12/07/2017)
West Virginia State Police said they made a methamphetamine bust as they were taking a Braxton woman to jail on other charges.

Kasandra Utt was arrested Tuesday night at a home on Old Turnpike Road just outside of Sutton, troopers said.

They did a knock and talk at the house and arrested Utt on an outstanding warrant out of Wood County and an obstructing charge.

But while en route to the jail, they said, Utt admitted to having drugs hidden on her. They say four bags of meth were found in her bra.

Troopers say they also recovered more than $3,000 in cash on her, and a total of 50 grams of methamphetamine. They say children were present in the home and additional arrests could be made.

Utt is currently being held in the Central Regional Jail.
