SAUNDERS SEXUAL ABUSE CASE ENDS WITH HUNG JURY

(12/04/2017)
A Calhoun criminal case against Jeremy Todd Saunders ended with a hung jury Thursday evening, according to prosecutor Shannon Johnson.

Saunders, a resident of Arnoldsburg, was arrested in 2013 by Cpl. J. B. Hunt with an investigation by Calhoun Children Protective Services, charging him with multiple counts of alleged sexual abuse and incest by a parent or custodian related to a minor child.

These incidents allegedly occurred at Saunder's Jesses Run residence near Arnoldsburg from June 2013 to August of 2013.

The minor was removed from the household and placed in foster care.

Prosecutor Johnson says a re-trial of the case is currently set for April, 2013.
