SPENCER RESIDENTS CHARGED WITH ALLEGED DRUG DEALING

Two individuals connected to Calhoun have been arrested by the Roane County Sheriffs Department on drug charges, according to Spencer Newspapers. Arrested on Nov. 3, Elvis Boswell, 27, and April Dawn McKown, 25, charged with possession with intent to deliver. Deputy Chas Ruppert went to an apartment on West Main Street and discovered 16.18 grams of meth in a bag, along with other drugs. He found a ledger indicating narcotics transactions.
