POLICE RESPOND TO ASSAULT CALL IN GRANTSVILLE

Police responded to an alleged assault call on Johnson Street in Grantsville at 10:45 p.m. Sunday. The report indicated that a male entered a house accosting another male. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene. A Calhoun deputy sheriff responded to the incident, saying that the alleged victim told the officer that he fell down in the yard. State Police officers responding from Clay County returned to station.
