ONLY 10% OF WV VOTERS VOTED IN ROAD BOND ELECTION - Most WV Voters Have History Of Staying At Home

(11/13/2017)
West Virginia's secretary of state said only 10 percent of the state's 1.2 million registered voters cast their ballots in last month's road bonds election.

West Virginian voters are generally the worst in the nation to turn out for presidential elections.

While holding to the democratic process of elections, the small turn out voted for Trump and most voters stayed home.

Secretary of State Mac Warner's office released official results Friday showing 122,419 votes cast in the Oct. 7 special election.

Results show almost 73 percent voted for issuing $1.6 billion in state bonds to repair and build roads and bridges.
