DRIVER INJURED AFTER PLUNGING FROM RT. 16 PLEASANT HILL

A driver with passenger plunged off Rt. 16 just north of Grantsville (Pleasant Hill) and crashed over a hillside about 11:20 p.m. Sunday. The driver reportedly hit the windshield with his face and was removed from the vehicle by responders, the passenger managed to walk to the highway. They were taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System. Responding the Grantsville VFD and Minnie Hamilton EMS.
