HEARTWOOD HOSTS WORKSHOP FOR FAIRMONT STATE COLLEGE STUDENTS

Heartwood in the Hills recently hosted a day long workshop for 10 Creative Puppetry students of Fairmont State College. Throughout the day Artistic Director Jude Binder led the students through a series of art, anatomy, movement and theatre exercises. The day culminated when the students combined all the exercises of the day to perform the theatre game - "The Great Blueness. Joining in the workshop was Francene Kirk, Abelina Suarez Professor of Communication and Theatre and Creative Puppetry Professor at Fairmont State . Colleen Dorsey, Kelli Cooper, Justin Allen, Aaron Sine, Dina Vergura, Jared Mouts, J.R. Watson, Seret Cole, Samantha Young and Abby Hilpert.
