CHLOE MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO $38,000 THEFT

A Chloe, Calhoun man pled guilty to two charges of burglary in Roane Co. Circuit Court. Eric Ray Jones,25, who has a long history of property crimes in Calhoun and regional counties, had been indicted with another person of stealing two ATVS, hunting gear and other items on Rush Creek in Roane County. The items were valued at $38,000. Charges of grand larceny, breaking and entering and conspiracy were dropped with his plea. He will be sentenced on October 30.
